Lovely hotel - February 2025
Lovely hotel! Traditional rather than modern. Our 4 poster deluxe room was fab! Would def go back. Breakfast superb! Leisure centre spotless.
Very relaxing - February 2026
This was my 2nd stay and my wife's 3rd stay in the Castlecourt Hotel and we can honestly say the best hotel we have stayed in.
From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very welcome. The staff are extremely helpful.
The hotel is ideally located a short walk from town centre which is always fairly lively with plenty of live music. There are also plenty of activities to take part in I.e walking cycling baking bingo and more. If you just want to relax in the hotel you can enjoy the lovely food that is served pretty much all day up to about 8pm. Then you have live music and a dance if you wish. Lastly a shout out to Maura. She will look after you during the day with your tea and coffee!! or a glass of ice and a little chat always nice.
Top class hotel 🏨 - February 2026
We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful — nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless cozy and warm. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and everything felt fresh and well thought out. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, quality stay. Westport is the best a magical place.
Super weekend away - February 2026
Absolutely brilliant stay. The staff were so nice and helpful. Food in the Bistro and Restaurant was excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar. The Courtyard area is really nice. Looking forward to returning soon.

Comfort, Class and Incredible Staff - January 2026
We had a wonderful stay at the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional and genuinely attentive — they’ve truly thought of everything. Every interaction, from reception to restaurant to leisure centre, was friendly and efficient.
Our room was spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented. The little details really stood out. The hotel itself is extremely well laid out, with numerous lifts and automatic doors, which makes moving around effortless and accessible — something many hotels overlook.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed yet vibrant. The location is perfect for exploring Westport town on foot.
As someone involved in hospitality myself, I truly appreciate the standard being delivered here. It’s clear there’s strong leadership and a great team culture behind the scenes.
We’ll absolutely be back — and we’re already looking forward to trying your sister property in the future.

An overall fantastic stay - December 2025
Arrived early and was surprised to have been upgraded to a four poster bed suite that was ready for us. We had booked a 3 night stay but would have stayed longer if we could. Staff are amazing, particularly Shane in the bar who looked after us with food when we arrived back late after exploring the town. Adrian from the breakfast team is a credit to the hotel. A genuinely lovely chatty guy who looked after us so well. All the staff we encountered were gems. The hotel is absolutely spotless. The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job. Food is delicious in the bar, at petit Joe's and at breakfast. The bath was such a treat and the shower is so powerful. Just the best experience there. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a fabulous stay.
Excellent Experience, great staff!! - December 2025
My fourth time staying in the hotel and it was excellant as usual....we arrived too late for food, the kitchen was closed but the bar man Rodrigo sorted us with sandwiches.....great service as always!!

Excellent experience - November 2025
I visited The Castlecourt this November and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, everyone was very welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Niall in the gym was also very welcoming in the gym and swim leisure centre, I would 100% recommend going back!! The atmosphere is just wonderful — elegant but still cozy and comfortable. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place.
Perfect Hotel - October 2025
The CastleCourt was an absolutely fabulous experience and just the perfect stay. The room was lovely, the food was great, breakfast was perfect and there was a gluten free option, the bar was really cozy. The hotel was so well maintained, clean, The staff where really friendly and the leisure facilities where lovely. Could not recommend this hotel and Westport more highly.

The services that were provided by Emer and Igna were beyond comparison. Their commitment to their duties to attend to the needs and desires of our family made our dining experience the BEST so far during the duration of our Gate 1 travel. These ladies definitely embody the tenets of The Castle Court Hotel at the highest level of integrity and pride.

Fantastic stay at the Westport - August 2025
Stayed for 4 nights at the Castlecourt Hotel for a family wedding. It was a fantastic wedding and the staff at the CastleCourt were amazing. Wonderful service -everything thought of and couldn’t do enough for you.
Executive room was big and spotless, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.
Visited the Sula Spa while there and that was also great-very relaxing. Westport is a wonderful place to visit and made even better by a stay at the Castlecourt.
Welcoming and friendly - August 2025
What can I say about the Castle Court Hotel that hasn’t been said before? I love returning to your hotel year on year. It feels like I am visiting an old friend. It’s lovely to see staff who remember you from previous visits…namely Veronica who welcomes you with the biggest smile and handshake. She always shows genuine interest in my news and recalls past events from previous stays. She is a gem! Food delicious and beautifully presented…endless offers of beverages and condiments. Nothing is too much trouble…Your staff are a credit to you!

Myself and my partner Michelle stayed at the hotel from the 4th to the 7th of May. We stayed on a DBB basis. We found the food really good as was the service in the two different restaurants. We found the the staff in both restaurants very friendly.
Our room was very spacious and clean. We will definitely return here in the future.
Fantastic Luxurious Hotel- July 2025
This is an exceptional hotel. It is sparkling clean, the rooms are very well done and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant, the prices are reasonable and similar to the pubs in town. There are plenty of places to sit, have a drink and relax. The staff is friendly and professional and the hotel is a stones throw from the bustling town full of places to eat/drink. There is a free parking garage, I highly recommend using the circle to unload luggage before parking. This hotel exceeds the expectations of a four star hotel!

BClean, very well located and great support from receptionist and all the staff. Very comfortable rooms and accommodating staff, we arrived earlier for the check-in and they let us into our room no problem.
Great food and service - July 2025
Warm friendly team, it was such a pleasure to stay! The whole team made a 3 night stay so relaxing, spotlessly clean rooms with comfy large beds and cosy furnishings, the room was cleaned daily and towels replaced.
Our stay included a really delicious freshly cooked breakfast with lots of gluten free options, great fresh fruit and yoghurt.
The evening meals were amazing - we needed a walk each night to justify what we ate!

LThis is a beautiful and fantastic hotel. Ann Joe and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed one night for my birthday. The room was beautiful and so clean. They left me a treat for my birthday and Thanks to you all my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Can't wait for our next visit. Met some lovely couples from all over.
