A Day We Will Never Forget - August 2026

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Castlecourt Hotel in Westport, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the very beginning, Vincent, our wedding organiser, was absolutely fantastic. His attention to detail, professionalism and genuine care throughout the whole process were exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made sure everything came together exactly as we had hoped. On the wedding day itself, the entire team at the Castlecourt were outstanding. The service was flawless, the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, and every little detail was taken care of. It allowed us to simply relax, enjoy ourselves and take in every moment with our family and friends. The food, atmosphere and hospitality were excellent, and so many of our guests commented on how well everything was organised and how fantastic the staff were. A huge thank you to Vincent and everyone at The Castlecourt Hotel for making our wedding day so special and memorable. It’s a day we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives, and we couldn’t recommend the Castlecourt highly enough to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue. Fantastic - August 2026

Fantastic experience from arrival until departure. Food excellent had dinner there 10 of us plus two kids everybody’s plate was delicious. Breakfast every morning same delicious great choices. Entertainment in the evenings was great with wonderful bar staff Shane was mostly our server. Cannot wait to go back.

Fabulous Hotel - July 2026

Absolutely excellent hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here as a family of two adults in their 80’s and myself and my husband and 4 children. Staff were all excellent. The grounds and hotel itself is very well kept, it’s a credit to the staff. Spotlessly clean, including our room for the 5 days. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We were going to stay on a 5 th night we loved it so much but we had other commitments; look forward to returning in the future!

Enjoyable Visit - July 2026

Had a lovely relaxing 2 night stay in the Castlecourt. Food in both this hotel & the Plazza was lovely.
V friendly, helpful courteous staff.
Special shout out to Ciara who we first meet in the Bistro and then both mornings for breakfast. Very helpful and lovely friendly manners.
Also to the porter Petie who help/assisted with the charging of the car. Another pleasant/ helpful member of staff.
Would definitely recommend a visit here!

70th birthday party - July 2026

I had my 70th birthday party there and was so happy with the professional care ,and kindness which we received especially from Jamie and staff.What a brilliant hotel and staff , 10 /10

Enjoyable stay at an excellent hotel – June 2026

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in the centre of Westport with all the shops and bars within easy walking distance. There was ample free parking within the hotel grounds. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped. The hotel staff were friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant on one night, the food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Westport.

A really nice weekend visit – June 2026

A lovely hotel located within 5 minute walk of town centre. Room and bathroom were excellent, very comfortable, nicely decorated, both with high end finishes. Breakfast served in the restaurant, food and service to a very high standard. Mainly young local staff friendly and obliviously trained to a high standard by friendly helpful restaurant management. Restaurant itself was really nicely decorated and furnished. Comfortable tables and chair, even the lighting was perfect. Staff were professional and helpful throughout our stay, we would highly recommend the Castlecourt hotel.
